A jib. much like a crane. “flies” the camera high above the ground. This complex piece of equipment requires extensive knowledge and experience to master. A jib is multi-directional and can provide high angle perspectives that swoop smoothly down into a dead-on medium shot. DePalma Productions has a team of Jib-Arm specialists who are able to accommodate any production. as long as the ceiling is high enough.

Many of our clients prefer the luxury of not having to memorize a long script. A teleprompter can be the solution. Whether it’s one person reading directly to camera or multiple people engaging in a scripted dialogue. our operators are ready to provide prompter solutions with one or more monitors.

Need to make edits on the fly? Not a problem. DePalma Productions provides broadcast teleprompter software to easily make edits as needed.

Also available is our iPad teleprompter kit. This is often used in order to maintain mobility. For example. an iPad teleprompter can be attached to a camera on a steady-cam rig or dolly mount. An iPad teleprompter is smaller. more affordable alternative to traditional teleprompter.

One of the first Hollywood movies a steadicam was ever used was “Pocky”. This launched its popularity in the production industry. Now used for everything from featured films to the Superbowl. our clients see the benefit of adding a steadicam for their project with walk-and-talk shots and/or action sequences. It adds a fluid motion to the shot and also allows us to work on any terrain.
